Professional Gratitude for a Job of “Helping”

A reoccurring theme that can be found among our clients and staff is that of ‘helper’. The definition of helper according to Dictonary.com is “noun: a person or thing that helps or gives assistance, support, etc.”

As a Philadelphia based healthcare staffing company, our job is to connect our field staff with companies looking for professional staff in mental health, behavioral health, intellectual disabilities, and school staffing organizations. In each of the four verticals the theme of ‘helper’ is evident and our jobs page reflects the same.

It takes a special person to dedicate one’s life and career to helping others, providing care, guidance and support day in and day out. As the month of November comes to a close we look back and reflect on the gratitude for each one of our “helpers” and our clients for their dedication to their jobs. Together we play such an integral role on so many levels, for so many people of the Philadelphia area, helping individuals strive for balance, happiness, stability, daily function, inclusion, and overall health. What seems simple to many of us is a struggle for those in need.

If you or someone you know has a person that has experienced a mental or behavioral health condition or has to battle the daily task of an intellectual disability, you know first-hand the true value and gratitude for the staff. The impact is not only on the individual but also on the family.

If you feel as though you are being called to the field of special needs, mental health, behavioral health, nursing, or intellectual disabilities we invite you to contact one of our recruiters to discuss a variety of opportunities throughout Greater Philadelphia. If you know someone that would benefit from our services (free to jobseekers) please pass along our name and number.
