General Purpose
Develop recruiting strategies in support of organizational staffing objectives. Execute recruiting strategies to deliver best fit candidate solution for assigned positions.
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
- Identify recruiting needs based on client requirements and business needs
- Develop effective recruiting plans and strategies
- Assess assigned positions to develop job descriptions and job candidate profiles
- Review and clarify job specifications, competencies and skills required
- Source candidates through various methods including advertising, recruiters, job sites, career fairs
- Maintain effective relationships with social and professional networks to source qualified candidates
- Pre-screen candidates
- Review resumes and qualifications to determine suitability of candidates, Schedule and coordinate interviews
- Verify references and conduct required screenings and credentialing checks
- Maintain applicant tracking and accurate and current applicant data base
- Maintain recruiting metrics
- Keep current with sourcing strategies and industry trends
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent recruiting experience
- Knowledge of general principles of staffing, including systems and tools
- Experience in managing applicant data base and/or applicant tracking systems
- Knowledge of applicable computer applications
